How to Delete Your Speakle Account

Speakle is committed to giving you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Steps to Delete Your Account

1. Open the Speakle app on your Android device.
2. Tap the Settings icon (bottom navigation bar).
3. Scroll down to the Data Management & Danger Zone section.
4. Tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
5. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days. During this grace period you may cancel the deletion by returning to the same screen and tapping CANCEL DELETION.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile (name, email address, avatar)
• All speaking practice sessions and audio recordings
• Chat history with the AI tutor
• Vocabulary progress and collections
• Certificates earned
• Settings and preferences
• Purchase and subscription history (transaction records required by law are retained per our Refund Policy)

Retention Period

After the 30-day grace period expires, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems within 90 days.

Payment transaction records are retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
